65m3/h Irrigation Pump System Vineyard
Scope
From my office in the Netherlands, Think Water Marlborough allowed me to design this drip irrigation pumping system that will irrigate a vineyard in New Zealand. They did a great job installing and commissioning it.
The vineyard has terraces at different heights, requiring high pressure (8 bar) for irrigating elevated areas and low pressure (3 bar) for lower terraces. A frequency controller works with the irrigation controller to automatically adjust the multistage pump's pressure based on which terrace is being irrigated.
I designed this drip irrigation pumping system from the Netherlands for Think Water Marlborough, who installed it in New Zealand.
The multi-terraced vineyard requires varying pressures (8 bar for high areas, 3 bar for low). A frequency controller automatically adjusts pump pressure based on which terrace is being irrigated.
Cool project!
